NEET 2022 Registration form

Candidates can register for the NEET 2022 exam online from the official website of NTA i.e. neet.nta.nic.in. The NEET 2022 registration form can be filled from 13th July 2022.

Here is a step by step guide to fill the NEET 2022 registration form-

Step 1: NEET 2022 Registration form:
Visit the official website of the NEET 2022 exam. Provide valid email id and mobile number to generate NEET Registration No. and Password.

Step 2: Fill the NEET Application Form:
Login to the official website by entering your registration no. and password.  Enter your personal and academic details, your preferred exam centre for NEET 2022

Step 3: Upload the necessary  Documents:
Upload scanned copy of a passport size photograph, signature, and other required documents are per the guidelines of NTA.

Step 4: Make the Payment of NEET Registration Fees:
NEET application fees can be paid online. The application fee for NEET 2022 is INR 1500 for GN, INR 1400 for EWS, and INR 800 for other category candidates.

Step 5: Submit NEET 2022 Application Form:
After reviewing all the information, save and submit the application form.

NTA will also announce the dates for NEET 2022 Form Correction and the window will also be opened accordingly. Please note that candidates will be allowed to edit only a few specific details like:

  • Gender And Category
  • Mother’s And Father’s Name
  • Person With Disability Status

Therefore candidates are advised to check their details carefully before the final submission of the application form.

NEET 2022 Exam Pattern

No changes have yet been announced in the exam pattern of NEET 2022 Exam by NTA. But it is made clear that the exam will be held in pen and paper mode this year as well. However the candidates will have internal options in the question paper considering the fact that the class 12 board exam syllabuses have been reduced in many states. NTA will shortly notify through their official brochure about any other important changes or additions in the NEET 2022 exam pattern.

NEET 2022 Syllabus by NTA

As per the official notice of MoE, the NEET 2022 Syllabus there are no changes in the syllabus and it will be the same as last year. As earlier, NEET 2022 syllabus will be based on the complete syllabus of classes 11 & 12 on the subjects Chemistry, Physics, and Biology (Zoology and Botany).

NEET Admit Card 2022

Candidates who have successfully registered for the NEET 2022 exam will be able to download their NEET Admit Card by logging in to their accounts on the official website. NEET Admit Card 2022 will be made available on the official website a month prior the exam date.

NEET 2022 Merit List

NEET Merit list 2022 will be released by NTA. NTA will provide the merit  to the counselling body i.e. DGHS (Directorate General of Health Services), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The merit list will be declared on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the NEET 2022 exam.

NEET Cut off scores 2022

In order to get admission in MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH programs, candidates will have to qualify NEET Cut off percentile and scores.
It is to be noted that due to vacant seats in AYUSH and BDS programs, the authority had reduced the qualifying percentile by 10 in the last year i.e. 2020.

Please note: The changes in the cut off percentile and scores for qualifying the NEET 2022 exam as mentioned above was only for the 2020 session. This might not be applicable for candidates applying in the NEET 2022 exam. The exam authority might not reduce the cut off for the present session.

NEET Counselling 2022

MCC  (Medical Counselling Committee) conducts NEET Counselling for 15% AIQ seats every year. The counselling process by MCC is conducted in 3 rounds. If the seats are still left vacant after the completion of round 3, then the authority has the power to conduct another round of counselling.

Answer- NEET 2022 latest news is that the exam is scheduled to be held on August 1 through offline mode in 11 languages like previous years.

Answer- NEET 2022 Exam Date has been released by NTA on March 12. The exam will be conducted on August 1, 2022.

Answer- In the recent live session, the education Minister  had said that the team will think about conducting NEET 2022 in an online mode but did not make any announcement related to the same on any platform yet. In fact, as per the latest NTA notification, the NEET exam 2022 is likely to be held offline.

Answer- No major changes have been introduced yet in the NEET 2022 exam pattern.

Q. Will NEET 2022 be conducted in foreign countries?

Answer- Due to COVID-19 situation the exam centres outside India were cancelled in 2020. Depending on the conditions of this year the authority will decide the exam centres in India.

Q. Who will be conducting authority of the NEET 2022?

Answer- NTA is the conducting authority of NEET 2022 as well.

Q. Will NEET 2022 be conducted in two sessions like in the year 2020?

Answer- NTA has not announced anything about the exam being conducted in two sessions yet. But as per the latest official notice released by NTA the NEET 2022 exam is likely to be held only once this year.

Q. I am 16 years old now. Can I apply for NEET 2022 or is there any age limit?

Answer- No, you cannot apply for NEET 2022 exam as you are not meeting the age eligibility criteria. A candidate must be of minimum 17 years of age by December 31, 2022 to sit for NEET 2022.

Q. What are the changes introduced in the NEET 2022 syllabus?

Answer- No such announcement has been made by NTA so far. However, CBSE and other state boards  have  reduced the syllabus of class XI and XII, it is expected that NTA will make some changes in the syllabus also.

But the education minister in a recent live said that the NEET 2022 syllabus will remain unchanged.

Answer-  General category candidates need to score at least 50% or above in the PCB in Class 12 to be eligible to apply for the NEET 2022 exam.

Answer- Yes, candidates appearing in the 12th class are eligible to apply for NEET 2022.

Q. If a candidate is opting Oriya as a medium of question paper, would he be eligible for 15% All India Quota?

Answer- All Candidates qualifying NEET would be eligible for All India Quota and other quotas under the State Governments/Institutes, irrespective of their medium of exam.

Q. Can I change the option of language once the form is submitted?

Answer- No, once the form is submitted, you cannot change the application form. Therefore, candidates are advised to be very careful in choosing the medium of the question paper before the final submission of the application form.

Q. If I get compartment in class 12 can I apply for NEET 2022?

Answer- Yes. You are eligible to apply for NEET 2022. However, during the time of admission you will have to provide the class 12 pass certificate. And you must score the required percentage of marks in class 12 exam.
